A packed ringside was present for the Dutch Spotted society’s sale of in-lamb females at Carlisle, where trade topped at 3000gns twice.
That was first achieved by an imported gimmer from Brian Davies, South Hill Farm, Wiston, Haverfordwest, Pembroke, and purchased by Messrs Jones, Llandilo Graban, Builth Wells, Powys, Wales. She is in-lamb to Ty-Gwyn Commander.
The second was paid by Messrs Heigh, Bentham, Lancaster, Lancashire, for the ewe lamb, Mount Pleasant Clover, from GE Jackson, High Bentham, Lancaster. This April-born lamb is by an imported tup and out of imported dam, Ava.
