The judge, Mrs K Davidson, Corsairtly, Keith, awarded the Texel champion to a Strathbogie Yes Sir sired gimmer, carrying a pair to Knock Yardsman, from RH Wilson, Milnbank, North Dorlaithers, Turriff, which realised 4000gns to James C Innes and Sons, Dunscroft, Huntly.

The same home also took the reserve ticket, this time for a Holylee Acrobat sired gimmer also carrying twins. She went under the hammer for 1000gns.

In the Suffolk section, J Douglas, Cairness, Fraserburgh, took both the champion and reserve honours.

The top ticket was awarded to a Castleisle Spotlight sired gimmer, carrying twins to Glenagh Winston, and went on to sell for 800gns. .

The runner-up was a Cairness High Achiever-sired ewe also carrying a pair to the same sire. She sold not far behind at 600gns.
