The Spring show and sale of 57 store cattle at Hawes Auction market, saw the overall championship awarded to a Limousin heifer from TM Iveson, Hawes, which also took the top price at £1220.

Topping the steers was another of the same breed this time from G and P Middleton, which achieved £1160.

Judge, Michael Wildman, Selby, tapped out his reserve champion in another heifer, from RF and RD Kettlewell, Raydaleside, which later made £1140.
