Entries from A and JN Story, Newbiggin Farm, secured both the champion and the reserve honours at the North West Limousin Breeders' Club's annual show and sale of primestock at Carlisle.
Supreme was a 680kg Limousin cross steer that was knocked down at 222.5p per kg or £1513 selling to Pioneer Foods, Carlisle. The reserve, a 640kg heifer, later achieved 237.5p and £1520 selling to David Whaite.
Top price per head however, at £2045, was the first prize bull, a 932kg entry from J Common and Son, Crossdykes, made 219.5p per kg.
Leading the cow class was a 695kg daughter of Rockfirth Istabull from Messrs Smith and Shepherd, Glebelands. She sold for 172.5p per kg or £1193.
