The annual spring Kirkcambeck sale at C and D Auction Marts' sale at Longtown, met a buoyant trade, selling to £1120 for an Aberdeen-Angus bullock from D Moffat and Son, Bodesbeck.
Heifers were topped at £960 for a Belted Galloway from G and A Scott, Summerhill, Scaleby, whilst bulls sold to £850 for Limousins from Nether Albie.
