Farmers have always proved key for the health and wealth of the nation in providing home-produced food, but with the National Health Service at risk from the devastating affects of coronavirus, Ian Hunter is selling three of his best Blackface ewe hoggs from Dalchirla, Muthill, in aid of the NHS Covid-19 appeal.
Two are grand-daughters of Boris, a home-bred son of a £10,000 Nunnerie lamb, and the other is by a £24,000 Connachan.
The ewe hoggs will be sold at United Auctions’ breeding sheep sale at Stirling, on Monday, May 18, with all proceeds donated to the NHS.
