Quality Meat Scotland (QMS) has teamed up with Scotland’s National Chef and winner of Masterchef: The Professionals 2016, Gary Maclean to encourage consumers to make a delicious Scotch Beef PGI dish as part of QMS’s Virtual Highland Show this weekend.

Cooking from his home on Saturday 20 June 2020 at 4pm, Gary will prepare Scotch Beef and Haggis Burgers with rosemary and garlic potato wedges and celeriac and whole grain mustard slaw.

Consumers can follow Gary step-by-step on Saturday via the QMS, SAYFC and Royal Highland Show Facebook pages.

“Gary’s cook-along is sure to be great fun,” said Lesley Cameron, Director of Marketing and Communications with Quality Meat Scotland.

“I would encourage those who are thinking of tuning in to visit their local Scotch Butcher Club member to stock up on Scotch Beef mince and ingredients, if they don’t already have them at home, so they can cooking along with Gary on Saturday to make a delicious dinner for all the family.”
