A wee grey Fergie tractor, sold through Pentland Auctions’ online sale, has helped raise more than £6000 for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.
The tractor, donated by Harry Lang, of Newington, Cupar, sold with a two-furrow plough for £3150 to Craig Low, from Aberdeen.
As well as the sale price for the tractor, an anonymous donation was added with the final total raised amounting to £6150. No commission was charged for the tractor, going as it did to such a good cause.
