New sale dates have been announced by various auctioneers following the cancellation of the Kelso Ram Sales.
Lawrie and Symington and Hexham and Northern Marts are joining forces to sell some 1200 MV accredited Texel shearling rams and tup lambs that would normally be sold in rings 5, 7 and 9.
This event will be staged at Lanark Agricultural Centre on the traditional Kelso date of Friday, September 11.
Texel rams that would normally be sold by C and D Auction Marts in Rings 18 and 19, in conjunction with Border Livestock Exchange, will be sold at Longtown, on Monday, September 7.
Meanwhile, MV and Non-MV accredited cross rams, MV accredited Charollais rams and Texel rams and Bluefaced Leicesters will be sold on Sunday, September 13, again through Longtown Auction Mart.
