QUALITY Meat Scotland’s consumerfacing social media platform, The Scotch Kitchen, reached over 5.8 million consumers in June with content promoting Scotch Beef PGI, Scotch Lamb PGI and Specially Selected Pork.

The Scotch Kitchen also received over 134k video views, over 14k people interacting with posts and over 2k new followers, well above industry average. The content showcased during this period focused on Father’s Day, the Virtual Highland Show and mouthwatering recipes.

Top performing posts being were recipe-based, one being a cooking demonstration from Glasgow-based Chef Jimmy Lee, and another being our delicious Scotch Beef Stir fry recipe, encouraging followers to try restaurant quality recipes at home.

The Scotch Kitchen also trialled Snapchat as an advertising platform to drive more traffic to the website and reach a younger audience with recipe inspiration.
