A half-share of a Texel shearling ram from the Clark family’s Teiglum flock, near Lesmahgow, has been sold for £15,000 to Paul Slater’s Whiteley Hey flock, in Cheshire.
The ram, Teiglum Crackerjack, is by the 2019 Sire of the Year, Knock Bantastic, while the dam, a Knock Yardsman daughter, is a full sister to the 40,000gns Garngour Alabama.
Crackerjack’s full brother, Teiglum Charmer, made 12,000gns at Lanark last year.
