Perthshire Texel breeder, Robert Cockburn, produced the top priced lots amongst the Scottish consignors at the breed's Welsh National sale at Welshpool.
Mr Cockburn who runs the Knap flock at Hill of Errol, Perth, received 1500gns for a gimmer by Mullan Amigo, out of a Clinterty Yuga Khan daughter. She sold to local breeders Steve and Helen Smith for the Pen Parc flock.
His top ram lamb, Knap Darth Vader, a Sportsmans Cannon Ball son, made 1400gns selling to Wyn Jones of the Fferwd flock, Denbigh.
A shearling ram from Cefyn Pryce, topped trade selling at 5800gns. Caereinion Class, a Kimbolton Ace son was knocked down to David Williams, Abermule, Powys.
Averages: 48 gimmers £663.47, 45 shearling rams £1191.17, 60 ram lambs £678.83.
