A new centre record for Blackface ewe lambs, was achieved at Lawrie and Symington’s sale of 2463 store and breeding sheep at Forfar when a pen of three from Mark Simpson, Sidlaw, Blairgowrie, sold for £1600 per head to Neil Barclay, Harestone, Crathes.

Mr Simpson also sold a pen at £160.

Gimmers peaked at £195 for a pen of Beltex from Haughton.
