Lucinda Townsend's Beef Shorthorn bull, Coxhill Napoleon, a two-year-old polled roan, topped United Auctions' two-day multi-breed pedigree sale at Stirling, selling for the lead price of 10,000gns.
The sale, which included Aberdeen-Angus, Beef Shorthorn, Charolais, Limousin, Salers and Simmentals, was topped by a Ballylilnney Glenn-sired bull from Coxhill Farm, Moffat. Napoleon goes out to work at Aucheneck Estates, Killearn, Glasgow.
