A 100% clearance rate was achieved among the females, while 70% of the bulls found new homes at the Magnificent Moilie spring timed online sale of Irish Moiled cattle, which saw a top price of £3200.
The sale – staged through Harrison and Hetherington – was topped by Ballyreagh Lily 6737, a yearling heifer from William Edwards, Tempo, Co Fermanagh, purchased by near neighbour, Garrett O’ Donnell, of Enniskillen. She is by Gortnatiobratan Beirti and bred from Ballyreagh Lily 6708, a Glassdrummond Oak daughter.

The same home also produced the second highest price at £3000. Curraghnakeely Bluebell 0542, a yearling heifer, is by Gortnatiobratan Beirti Ex90, out of a previous home-bred Bluebell and sold to Richard Ferguson from Downpatrick, Co Down.
Selling at £2500 was the yearling heifer, Ravelglen Maisie, from Brian O’Kane, Martinstown, Co Antrim. Dermot Gardiner, Ballymena, forked out the cash for this Dungallia Taurus daughter out of Ravelglen Lizzie VG87.
