Trueman Rosanna took the top spot at the online sale of Limousin cattle on behalf of Henry Savage and Sons, Trueman and Jim and Joe Quail, Lynderg, topping at 16,000gns.

The sale leader now heads home with Pat, Gearoid and Padraic Kennedy, Portlaoise, Co. Laois, for their Coolrain herd.

This maiden heifer is sired by Telfurs Munster and out of the Ampertaine Elgin daughter, Trueman Indie, a daughter of the herd matriarch Trueman Euphonium.

Next best for the Trueman herd was the yearling heifer, Trueman Rumba at 7200gns, an Ampertaine Magnum daughter out of the Wilodge Vantastic bred Trueman Honey. She sold to Seamus Keady for his Shanna herd based in Spiddal, Co. Galway.

Realising 7000gns was Trueman Roxy, a Telfers Munster daughter and out of the Ampertaine Elgin bred, Trueman Layla. She sold to Donal Byrne, Ballyhaunis, Co. Mayo.

Seamus Keady, Galway, forked out 6000gns for Trueman Ruby.

On the same money was Trueman Rita, which is now heading home with DJ Summers and Son, Hall farm, Somerby.

Second top price of the day at 7600gns was paid for the baby of the sale Lynderg Renee, at just nine months of age this daughter of Lynderg Hero was snapped up by Trevor Shields for his Glenmarshal herd in Kilkeel.

Lynderg Ruby hit 6400gns, tracing back to the imported cow Orelie, also having Ocean and Lynderg Hero in her pedigree. She was purchased by Seamus Keady, Galway.

The top priced young bull was Lynderg Rembrant, who now joins the Newhillfarm herd of Ryan McPolin at 5600gns. He is sired by Lynderg Hero.
