History was made at the North Country Cheviot 'Park' type sale at Lockerbie, when the shearling ram, Allanshaws Bullseye reached £15,000.

Father and son team, Roderick and Lewis Runciman, surpassed the previous record of £8000 paid back in 1979, when selling their pre-sale champion to the Barclay family, Harestone, Aberdeen.

He is from the first crop of sons from Sebay Xcitable and is out of a home-bred dam.

Second top price of £6000 came from James and sons, Hamish and Balfour Baillie of the Sebay flock, when their shearling, Sebay Bang found a new home with Robert Kilvington, Parsonage, Dulverton.

Amongst the females a top price of £900 was achieved on two occasions, firstly for a gimmer from Jennifer Cowan's Hightae flock, and again for a ewe lamb from Scott Davies of the Synton flock.
