More than 150 pigs went under the hammer at C and D Auction Marts' monthly sale at Dumfries on Monday, where baconers sold to £220 for organic Large Blacks.
A pen of three pure-bred Welsh gilts from Steven Wilson, Bishopbriggs, sold to £180 with cutters attaining £98 and £95 for Large Blacks and Duroc crosses.

Weaners were topped at £65 for Duroc crosses with three-way cross growers also at £65. Saddleback cross growers reached £75.
