Scott Bourman’s Middlehouse enterprise has been awarded the champion honours in the West and Central Scotland Suffolk Sheep Club Flock competition.
The competition, judged by Alison Dalgarno, Cairnorrie, saw the reserve rosette presented to Peter Gray of the Scrogton flock, Galston.

Small flock – 1, Wallace Haining (High Drum); 2, Alexander Clark (Glengyre); 3, Laura Ferguson (Kelcastle).
Medium flock – 1 and champion flock, Scott Bourman (Middlehouse); 2, Alexander Gray (Langside); 3, Andrew Currie (Blackbog).
Large flock – 1 and reserve, Peter Gray (Scrogton); 2, Peter Wilson (Spoutwells); 3, Ryan Arthur (Highmuir).
Progeny group – 1, Alexander Gray (Langside); 2, Middlehouse; 3, Spoutwells.
Best female – Middlehouse with a Langside Foreman daughter.
Best five ewe lambs – 1, Langside; 2, Middlehouse; 3, Scrogton.
