Hereford bulls achieved a joint top price of 3600gns at the breed sale at Carlisle.
First to achieve that price was Romany 1 WildcarD FR W54, from JRB Wilson and Sons, Cowbog, Kelso. This 25-month-old is sired by Fabb 1 Rocco and out of Romany 1 Lily, which goes back to SMH Castro. Final bidders were Messrs Hodge, Duns.
The next lot, Barwise 1 AtticuS BT A1330, a 22-month-old entry matched that price for CS Fletcher, Barwise hall, Appleby in Westmorland.

His pedigree includes Barwise 1 Wellington onto the Gouldingpoll Gold Spice daughter, Barwise 1 Rambling Rosie. He was knocked down to Messrs Lister, Kettlewell, Skipton.
