Champion winner from Michael Lawrence sold for £2800
A good entry of dairy cattle forward at Bentham was topped at £2800 on two occasions, with the first and overall champion, a cow from Michael Lawrence, Grange over Sands, selling to the judge, Ed Swindlehurst.
Heifers peaked at the same money for the second prize winner from Richard Robinson, Nether Kellett.
Top end heifers sold at £2520-£2720, with the next draw £2150-£2350 to average £2253.
