Huntly-based show enthusiast, Blair Duffton, produced both the champion and reserve winners at Penrith and District Farmers' Mart's May show and sale of 644 store cattle.

Champion was a British Blue cross heifer which went on to make £1880, with the reserve, a Limousin bullock selling for £1800.

Mr Duffton also sold the lead priced heifer, a Blonde.

A sale average of £1206.25 was achieved, with a top price of £2155 paid for a Limousin cross steer from Mary Wilson, Hardrigg Hall.
