British Blondes met a 100% clearance rate at the breed society's official sale at Carlisle, with a top price of 9000gns paid for the pre-sale champion.

Leading the way was James and Peter Weightman’s Hallfield Rory, a November, 2020-born entry by Aaron Jaigo, from the herd based near Easington, Peterlee. Bred from the Blackwater Ainsley daughter, Hallfield Fuschia, Rory caught the eye of the Ullyott and Dryden Partnership, Wombwell, Barnsley.

The Weightmans sold the top three highest priced lots with their next best at 6500gns selling to WJ Scott, West Woodburn, Hexham. That was the October, 2020-born Hallfield Rhys which offers different breeding to his herd mate being a son of Broccagh Kingfisher, out of Hallfield Layla, again by Blackwater Ainsley.

At 5000gns was the 14-month-old Aaron Jaigo-sired Hallfield Stan, this time out of Hallfield Jiffy, an Ardmore Fugitive daughter. Reserve champion at the pre-sale show, he was knocked down to A and F Moore, North Owersby, Market Rasen.
