A GOOD entry of 130 store bullocks and heifers was forward for Harrison and Hetherington's special show and sale of

at Middleton in Teesdale, where the champion and reserve winners were both consigned by Messrs White, Rigg Farm.

Judge Richard Walton, Co Durham, first found his champion in a Limousin bullock which went on to top the sale at £1360 selling to Messrs Harryman, Pickerman, who also bought the reserve another similarly bred bullock at £1280.

Topping the heifers at £1000 was a Limousin from Messrs Dargue, Forrest in Tessdale.

Breeding cattle peaked at £2950 for a British Blue cow with steer calf at foot from Barry and Jackie Meeson's dispersal from Bowes Close, purchased by Messrs Callender, Stockton.
