Some 3443 store lambs were sold through C and D Auction Marts' Longtown Centre on Tuesday, where a top price of £94 per head was achieved for the champion of lambs
The event, which included a show and sale of lowland-bred lambs, judged by Messrs Tindale, Paradise Farm, Co Durham, saw pens of 20 Beltex lambs from TR and EA Millburn, Wallend, secure both the champion and reserve honours before selling for £94 and £89, respectively.
