A 100% clearance was achieved for the 22 North Country Cheviot shearling rams forward with a top price of £1200 paid for Allanshaws Cockyboy from father and son duo, Roderick and Lewis Runciman, Allanshaws, Galashiels.
He is sired by Jethart Extra Special which was bought as a lamb privately and out of a home-bred dam by Allanshaws Pamson that goes back to the show ewe, Allanshaws Pam, a former Royal Highland Show champion in 2009. He was knocked down to F and J Walton, Flotterton, Morpeth.
Allanshaws Clarkson from the same home made £1100 selling to Merssrs Nutt, South Garphar, Girvan. He is a son of Carruthers Admiral and out of a Philiphaugh Tornado sired-dam.
