A Blackface ram lamb from Thomas Muirhead, Orchilmore, Blair Atholl, topped a multi-breed ram sale at Fort William, selling for £6000.
David Murray, Lurdan, Aberfeldy, purchased this boy, which is a son of a £82,000 Loughash and bred from a £8000 Towiemore sired-dam.
Blackface shearlings sold for £5500 from the Wight family, Midlock, this one is by a son of a £17,000 Midlock tup and sold to Aitkenhead farm, Fenwick.
Blackface three shears reached £1000 for Jimmy and Graeme Sinclair, Crookston, Heriot, who also sold the lead priced Bluefaced Leicesters at £1000 in the form of a shearling.
