Forestry management company Scottish Woodlands has appointed Andrew Tuft as a new director to its Board.

Mr Tuft, already general manager for timber, became harvesting director for the company on October 1, 2020.

He has worked for Scottish Woodlands since 2004 and joins the board a year after David Robertson and Dessy Henry, taking the board's membership to 10 to reflect business growth.

Managing director Ralland Browne said: "With the continued growth of the business, I’m delighted to announce this strategic board appointment. Andrew has served Scottish Woodlands with great skill and commitment and I have no doubt he will be a great addition to the board.”

The company is based at Riccarton, Edinburgh, and employs 195 people in 20 offices across the UK.
