Australian rider Paul Tapner rode Kilronan to lead from pillar to post to win the £1,000 Gillespie McAndrew Hopetoun House horse trials CIC3*.
The cross country was run in reverse order, and although there was heavy overnight rain the ground was excellent. Paul went into the cross-country phase 13 marks ahead of Louisa Milne Home and King Eider, but although Louisa jumped clear the pair collected 19.6 penalties to drop them to seventh place.
