GREAT Britain have selected their nations cup eventing team for Boekelo in The Netherlands.
The final leg of the 2013 FEI Nations Cup series concludes at Boekelo this weekend, (October 11-14, 2013).
Britain is just a single point ahead of Germany following good placings at Houghton Hall in Norfolk, Waregem (BEL) and Montelibretti (ITA).
The selected British squad is:
- Laura Collett (Wiltshire) with Allora 3, owned by Mr Philip Walker
- Izzie Taylor (Oxfordshire) with KBIS Starlet, owned by KBIS and Mrs Jo Meyer
- Kitty King (Wiltshire) with Persimmon, owned by Ms Jane Murfett and Mr Frank Inns
- Gemma Tattersall (West Sussex) with Chico Bella P, owned by Mr Christopher Stone
Yogi Breisner commented on the team selected to campaign for the 2013 Nations Cup title: "We have six of our CICO team riders out here and it wasn't at all easy to select four of them since they are all on equally good form. It is a really exciting team and it is great to have a team of such talented horses and riders."
Britain's Nations Cup team is supported by the UK Sport funded World Class Programme. The Equestrian World Class Programme has been funded through Exchequer and National Lottery funds, via UK Sport since 1998.
