The Pony Club Tetrathlon Championships, incorporating the disciplines of running, cross country riding, shooting and swimming, took place recently at their new venue of Bishop Burton College, East Riding of Yorkshire; with the swim phase of the competition being held at Beverley Leisure Centre.

Over 200 members took part at this year's Championships, Scotland's best result came in the intermediate girls where Harris Ritchie (14), from the Eglinton branch in Ayrshire, won on a score of 4304.

At open individual level, Jessica Varley (17), from the Burghley Hunt Branch taking the open girls individual top slot a score of 4316, to receive the Helyer Challenge Cup, along with Jamie Harby (17) from the South Notts Hunt, who took the open boys top slot on a score of 4274 to receive the coveted Wilkinson Sword.

The open girls team of Steph Courty (18), Suzanne (16) and Rebecca Barwise-Munro (20) from the Percy Hunt enjoyed success with their huge score of 12254; over 2000 points ahead of their nearest rivals!
