IRVINE jockey Danny Tudhope is in cracking form and continued to blaze a victory trail with two doubles in three days.

He rode My Son Max to win the claiming stakes at Beverley on August 13, and then partnered Sophisticated Heir to land the 1m 2f handicap.

The following afternoon, he travelled across the sea to Leopardstown, riding Custom Cut to head the one-mile stakes.

Tudhope's second double came at Ripon on August 16, when he won the six-furlong handicap pn Out Do, and the one-mile handicap on Bartack.

Thirsk on August 18 provided Danny Tudhope with further success, after he rode Shouranour to win the one-mile handicap.

The following afternoon he was back in the winner's enclosure when Jay Kay won the seven-furlong handicap at Leicester, while on August 20 Tudhope completed a double at Southwell, riding Rita's Boy to land the five-furlong maiden stakes and Cousin Khee to win the 1m 6f contest.

The Irvine jockey was also successful at York on August 23, where he took the opener on Custom Cut.

He rode Bartack to win the one-mile handicap at Ripon on August 25, and was quickly back in the winner's enclosure the following afternoon when Stormardal headed the 1m 2f handicap at Ripon.

Hawick jockey Jason Hart completed a double at Ripon, riding Pumaflor to take the six-furlong nursery and Kodil to take the two-mile stayers handicap.

The previous afternoon at Newcastle, he was also successful aboard 7-1 chance Underwritten in the 1m 6 f handicap.

Over the jumps, Milnathort trainer Lucinda Russell enjoyed a victorious treble at her local Perth track.

She saddled 7-1 chance Rowdy Rocher to win the two-and-a-half mile novice handicap chase, before Vengeur took the two-mile novice hurdle race in the hands of Hawick jockey Craig Nichol.

"He´s had two long spells off with leg trouble and his owners have been very patient and told us to take as much time as we needed," said Lucinda of Rowdy Rocher.

Lord of Drums completed the hattrick when accounting for the two-and-a-half mile handicap chase.

Carluke trainer Ian Semple was also successful at the meeting - 9-1 chance Bellgrove winning the two-mile hurdle.

At Doncaster the same afternoon, Glasgow handler Jim Goldie won the seven-furlong handicap with the well backed Tiger Jim.

"We'll probably wait until he's re-handicapped before running him again," he explained.Goldie was quickly back in the winner's enclosure when 14-1 chance Go Go Green enjoyed victory by a nose in the five-furlong handicap at Thirsk.

Jim Goldie's victory trail continued at Musselburgh on August 20 when 14-1 chance Midnight Dynamo headed the five-furlong handicap.

South Lanarkshire trainer Linda Perratt saddled 8-1 shot Saxonette to win the five-furlong handicap at the same fixture.

St Boswells owners Paul and Clare Rooney saw their colours carried to victory by Mr Burgees in the two-mile maiden hurdle race at Worcester the previous afternoon, while East Lothian jockey Mike Ennis was also in winning form, riding Ziggy's Secret to win the seven-furlong handicap at Yarmouth.

Jim Goldie's winning form continued with an across the card double on August 22.

He produced a 33-1 victory when Mistiroc headed the 1m1f maiden stakes at Hamilton, having earlier seen 6-1 chance Black Douglas take the six-furlong apprentice handicap at Newcastle.

The Renfrewshire trainer was again the man to follow, when completing a double at Redcar on August 23, with Nanton in the amateur riders' handicap and Karaka Jack in the one-mile handicap.

The same afternoon, Lucinda Russell saw Reaping the Reward land the beginners chase at Cartmel in the hands of Hawick jockey Craig Nichol.

Langholm trainer James Ewart won the concluding conditional/amateur riders handicap hurdle race with Sleep in First, ridden by Dale Irving, this year's Langholm Cornet.

Hawick jockey Wilson Renwick rode Right to Rule to land the 2m 5f handicap hurdle race at Sedgefield on August 26.
