KEITH Dalgeish has his yard in cracking form, with the Carluke stable packing in the winners and scoring a series of doubles.

At Ayr, on July 5, he completed his third double in recent weeks, sending out 8-1 chance Corton Lad to land the 1m 2f handicap, before stablemate Argaki accounted for the one-mile handicap. Two days earlier, he saddled Invoke to win the filly handicap at Haydock on July 3.

The Carluke handler had celebrated another double at Carlisle, on June 24. Firstly saddling the three-year-old Go Dan Go to win the one-mile handicap and his second success came in the concluding seven-furlong fillies handicap, headed by Invoke.

The trainer celebrated a second double at the same track on July 4, when Go Dan Go scored again in the seven-furlong handicap, and stablemate Ginger Jack landed the one-mile handicap.

Runner-up in the same race two years ago, Outlaw Torn held on by a neck to win the 1m 2f handicap at Newcastle on June 25. The 10-1 chance was given a great ride by Hawick jockey, Jason Hart.

Glasgow trainer, Jim Goldie, saddled a winner at the same track the following afternoon, after Margarets Mission, followed up her recent course and distance success to head the one-mile handicap.

His stable is also in good heart, and there was a double for the yard at Ayr on July 6, when Goninodaethat headed the six-furlong handicap, and Braes of Lochlash posted an 11-1 success in the 1m 5f handicap.

The same afternoon, East Lothian jockey Mikey Ennis rode the David Pipe trained Bejiing Star to win the 1m 2f stakes at Windsor.

The previous day at Market Rasen, Northern Area ladies' point-to-point champion Catherine Walton won the lady amateur riders handicap hurdle race at Market Rasen on Cornish Beau for Grand National winning trainer, Dr Richard Newland.

Greenlaw trainer Sandy Thomson began July with a winner. He saddled Just Awake to win the 2½-mile novice handicap chase at Perth on the first day of the month.

Hawick jockey, Craig Nichol, was also successful at the fixture, riding the Rose Dobbin-trained Politeness to land the concluding two-mile handicap hurdle race.

Hawick's Alistair Whillans sent out a winner at Cartmel on June 28, when Pena Dorada landed the three-mile handicap chase for local owner Alan Brown. The 8-1 chance was ridden to victory by Selkirk jockey Rachael McDonald.

East Lothian jockey, Mikey Ennis, was also successful at the track, riding Commissioned to victory in the two-mile handicap hurdle.

Galston-based Mike Smith landed the opening two-mile apprentice handicap at Musselburgh, on June 29, when sending out Eilean Mor to a 16-1 success.

On a good evening for Scottish trainers, Keith Dalgleish saddled Neuf Des Coeurs to win the 1m 4 f handicap.

Jim Goldie completed a double when Thorntoun Lady was the 16-1 winner of the five-furlong handicap, and later saw his own colours carried to victory by Rasaman in the seven-furlong handicap.Alistair Whillans was also on-form, when Hidden Revel won the concluding mile handicap.
