The Equine Vet Clinic, in Houston, Renfrewshire, is moving to new premises next month.

The clinic – currently based at Turningshaw Farm, Houston – is moving a few miles along the road to a new purpose built building at Brown Egg Farm, Houston Road, Inchinnan, at the end of March.

"The move takes us to a brand new purpose-built building which enables us to provide all the facilities we offer today and maintain our promise of excellent customer service to you and your ponies, horses and donkeys," said practice manager Paula Nugent.

"It has the added benefit of 10 acres of grazing ground and a huge parking area for those of you who are not keen on reversing your trailers!

"We are very pleased to announce that Alasdair Graham BVMS CertAVP(EM) MRCVS will be joining our team in March. Alasdair graduated from Glasgow Vet School and has spent the last six years working in equine practice in England, latterly at Milbourne Equine Clinic, in Kent, where he achieved the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Certificate in equine medicine," added Paula.

Originally from the Isle of Lewis, Alasdair is looking forward to relocating back to Scotland.

Furthermore, from March the practice will be offering a series of satellite clinics at Ingliston Country Club and Equestrian Centre.
