The sun was shining for the return of Lesmahagow Show with a fantastic turnout of visitors with a great display of quality livestock.
Local legend Ian Gardiner, of Kilnhills Farm, was tasked with job of selecting the show supreme and opted for the beef inter-breed champion, Wee Nippy, the Limousin cross heifer from Andy Ireland, Feoch, Darvel, which has already proved triumphant at several Ayrshire shows.

A busy shearing contest during the show attracted a huge crowd of spectators, with some big names returning to top form.
