The urge to spend money at The Royal Highland Show is overwhelming with marquee upon marquee of stands offering so much variety, choice, and show bargains that handing over the green stuff is hard to avoid.

It’s a shopper’s paradise and there’s a joy to be had just finding new things to love while browsing through the marquees.

Enjoy a browse around the 13th Avenue Arcade or the Lifestyle Village or catch up with the crafter’s haven in the 3D2D tent.

The 3D2D marquee offers you the chance to meet the maker, as, in order to qualify for a spot in this marquee, you must have made the products you are selling. It gives an excellent opportunity to chat to the talented people who are keeping Scotland’s crafts, arts and rural skills alive.

Visitors to the four-day event are expected to spend in the region of £8m on luxury brands, artwork, homeware and outdoor goods. That’s an impressive figure.

If you are on the lookout for country clothing, whether that’s a special jacket or some Scottish weather-resistant boots, then you are in for a treat. There are many country clothing fashion houses that are exhibiting with terrific show offers for the four days.

With more than 1000 trade stands throughout the showground, there’s plenty on offer whether you are shopping for a new handbag or a harvester.
