For impressive felt work, have a look for Scottish artist, Moy Mackay at this year's Royal Highland Show. Fresh back from her sell-out art tutoring tour of Scandinavia, Moy is now in the midst of a speedy turnaround, finalising her latest portfolio in time for this year's show. Moy's vibrant textural paintings are famously unique in that instead of actual paint, she ‘paints’ in felted Merino. Recognised internationally as a world leader in her genre of landscape painting, Moy is inspired by the wonderful, kaleidoscope of seasonal colour that surrounds her home in rural Peeblesshire. Moy has captured a corner in the popular Arts and Crafts section to reveal her very latest work. www.moymackaygallery.com
