Weddings at Macdonald Norwood Hall

Situated in the leafy suburbs of Cults, Macdonald Norwood Hotel has been catering for weddings for over two decades. The country house in the city was built in 1881 on the site of the 15th century Pitfodels Castle, and offers the perfect setting for a wedding day to remember.

With a stunning ballroom boasting floor to ceiling windows, and a sweeping central staircase alongside ornate fireplaces and roaring log fires, Macdonald Norwood Hall is set amidst seven acres of secluded woodland and gardens, where opportunities for beautiful wedding photos are plentiful.

Catering for weddings throughout the year, and just one wedding per day, the hotel provides up to 200 guests with exclusive use of their unique facilities. The weddings package includes a private drinks reception room, large dance floor with bar and patio doors to the garden, luxurious accommodation and an award-winning wedding co-ordinator. Couples holding their special day here will also benefit from unique offers from local wedding suppliers.

Norwood Hall Hotel has recently won a string of prestigious award wins and nominations. The venue was crowned Wedding Venue of the Year in the Top Tier Awards 2019, and is shortlisted in both the Wedding Venue of the Year (North) category and the Local Wedding Exhibition of the Year category, at the Scottish Wedding Awards to be held in February. It was also voted Outstanding Wedding Supplier at the recent VOWS Awards, the only city-based supplier in this category.

Macdonald Norwood Hall will be hosting a Wedding Fayre on Sunday 23rd February from 12-4pm, as well as open days on Sunday 12th and Sunday 26th January, also from 12-4pm. For further information visit or call 01224 868951
