Get along to the award-winning, dog-friendly Mercat Grill in East Lothian on Saturday, April 4, with your best-four-legged friend for the ‘Doggy Coffee Morning’ from 10 - 11:30am, all in aid of the Edinburgh Dog & Cat Home. There will be the usual mixing and mingling over tea, coffee and a breakfast roll – as well as an interesting talk from the Edinburgh Dog & Cat Home (edch). Graham Blaikie, owner of the Mercat Grill in Whitecraig, near Musselburgh said: “We always have a really fun morning at our doggy coffee mornings – we love spoiling your pooches and we’ll have an informative talk from the Edinburgh Dog & Cat Home too. It’s always great to see everyone having a super time and of course, raising vital funds to help those more unfortunate dogs (and cats). We really hope you can make it with your family, friends and fidos."

Tickets cost £5 per person – which includes a treat for your dog and a choice of tea/coffee and a breakfast roll (with either bacon or egg). Additional donations to the edch are, of course, welcome. To book a place, simply call 0800 124 4112 or email info@mercatgrill.com. www.mercatgrill.com
