Heads of Ayr Farm Park was recently awarded the ‘Large Farm Attraction of the Year’ award at the National Farm Attractions Network awards ceremony.
This network unites the rural tourism industry with hundreds of farm and trade members in the UK. The awards are nationally recognised and is a key part of the annual NFAN networking and trade conference.
Heads of Ayr Farm Park is owned by the Rankin family – Craig and Edna remain as owners and directors of the park, along with their three sons, Greg, Max, and Ben. The park sees 185,000 visitors per year and will celebrate it’s 30th birthday in May of next year.
Director, Greg Rankin, of Heads of Ayr Farm Park, said: “The whole park is delighted. It’s such an honour to have won this prestigious award in rural tourism. It’s thanks to the hard work of our amazing team who always go above and beyond to make sure our guests have the best possible experience when visiting us.
“We hope that awards such as this are going to be a boost, not just for us, but for the local tourism scene as a whole as they help to showcase our amazing area, as well as improve and recover as a community post-pandemic.”
Heads of Ayr Farm Park looks forward to welcoming new and returning customers this year, where visitors of all ages can experience exciting animals, adventure, and create lasting memories for the whole family.
Tickets start from £6 and can be booked online at www.headsofayrtickets.co.uk.
