If you are looking for some Highland hospitality at your wedding Bogbain Farm is based just three miles south of Inverness.

It’s convenient location means access is easy from anywhere in the country, but it also has oodles of Highland charm, and stunning views across the Moray Firth. The venue can cater for 150 guests for a meal, and up to 300 for the evening dance but there is also ample space for a marquee outside.

Bogbain allows complete flexibility. Couples are invited to go wild with their imagination and the staff are more than happy to help in achieving that.  Painting walls, creating new spaces, adapting existing rooms is all part of what keeps the venue fresh and unique for everyone that comes through the doors.

The buildings are more than 200 years old, with cobbled floors, stone walls and exposed beams. There are four main areas and, as all weddings are exclusive, this allows for complete flexibility. There is the main saloon bar, a 20m wedding barn with the roof and walls lined with fairy lights, a main dining area, and the back barn with a reclaimed gym floor and drapes with lights complementing the traditional manger and stables.

With cozy stoves and a new hot air heating system, the venue retains all its original charm but with modern comfort.

Outside, the farm is adorned with beautifully restored antique farm machinery and acres upon acres of green looking over the city of Inverness and onwards to the Black Isle. The semi-covered area provides shelter for the wedding party to spill out into the night and a perfect vantage point to enjoy the beautiful views of the Moray Firth and Black Isle.

The on site chef ‘Fired up Scotland’ is a master at creating the perfect wedding buffet. From the outdoor fire pit roasting sides of venison and beef ribs and pork, to a three course banquet, the team can create your perfect feast.
