A steering rear axle is a novelty designed to give the Lintrac greater manoeuvrability than other 102hp tractors, making it attractive for working in and around buildings, especially with a loader, Austrian manufacturer Lindner said at LAMMA.
The Lintrac also features a ZF Terramatic stepless transmission with various operating modes to suit different applications and speed adjustment using a dial on the seat-mounted console.
A 3.4-litre Perkins 854E engine provides the power, its compact size and particle filter packaging enabling the snub-nosed profile of the Lintrac, which extends no further than the front tyres.
Lindner has been eyeing the UK market for some time and said the innovative nature of this new design gives it an opportunity to attract dealers and new users.
In Austria, the Lintrac and the company’s Geotrac tractors and Unitrac vehicles are commonly used in upland grass farming situations.
