A COMPREHENSIVE line-up of Fendt machines is set to be a dominant feature at this year's LAMMA Show on 17 and 18 January – the last ever one to be staged at Peterborough's East of England Showground.
The star attraction on Fendt's stand is likely to be the MT 943 tracked tractor, which will be making its first appearance in the UK.
At 431hp, it's the flagship of the three-model range and the triumphant result of much painstaking work by Fendt's development engineers.
Particular attention has been devoted to the unique suspension systems. By combining the air-sprung operator's seat, the two-point cab suspension, ConstantGrip track/ground contact and SmartRide mainbeam connection, completely new standards of ride, performance and control have been achieved.
Close by, visitors will be able to examine the new Fendt RoGator RG 655 self-propelled sprayer, together with a range of wheeled tractors – headed by the mighty Fendt 1050 and supported by the 828, 700 Series, 516 and 300 Series.
In addition, the Fendt showspace at the East of England has been extended to accommodate an L Series combine harvester and a new Katana forage harvester.
And on the corporate front, Fendt's ambition to achieve Full Line status has recently been achieved, with the acquisition of Lely's forage wagon and round baler portfolio of machines in October 2017.
