THE 'world tractor' from Massey Ferguson is extending and expanding its appeal with a news transmission choice.

The ground-breaking MF 5700 Global tractor series now has the highly thought of Dyna-4 transmission available for its four-cylinder MF 5710 and MF 5711 models.

These 100hp and 110hp Dyna-4 models will also now be available with the option of cab suspension.

The new additions, join the MF 5708 and MF 5709 Dyna-4, three-cylinder models introduced at Agritechnica in 2017.

These latest additions gives customers the choice of the clutchless control of the Dyna-4 transmission, or they can opt for the no-nonsense 12 x 12 mechanical transmission.

“Equipped with the Dyna-4 transmission, the new MF 5710 and MF 5711 tractors, will appeal to a wide range of farmers looking for extra performance and versatility – particularly for field operations,” says MF's Francesco Quaranta, vice-president sales.

“The new features, along with the recently introduced Visio Roof option, further enhance their loader credentials. And, the renowned Dyna-4, with four on-the-move changes, adds class-leading control to these, robust and cost-effective workhorses.”

• Brake to neutral and AutoDrive transmission options

• Well-proven cab suspension option on all Dyna-4 tractors

Constructed on the strong MF 5700 chassis, the tractors have a 4.3-tonne lift capacity, and are suited to a wide range of field work and transport.

Dyna-4 gives simple and convenient control of 16 forward and 16 reverse speeds, with four Dynashift (powershift) speeds in four ranges. A ‘creep’ gear is an option.

With four change-on-the move in each gear, it is controlled by the left-hand 'Power Control' lever and a console-mounted t-lever.

On top of straightforward, clutchless range changes, further sophistication comes with the option of AutoDrive, which takes the strain off the operator and selects the best setting for performance and fuel economy.

This transmission's further option is a practical brake-to-neutral facility. Activated by a simple rocker switch, this engages neutral whenever the brakes are depressed, which means operators need to use just one pedal.

The cab suspension option is all mechanical, with two silent block bushes to support the cab at the front and a pair of spring-assisted shock absorbers mounted on the two rear corners. This requires no operator input and damping is set to pre-determined levels by the shock absorbers and springs.
