LEMKEN will soon be selling fertiliser spreaders in its own colours following a deal between Sulky Burel, a well known manufacturer of such machines.

Respective CEO's, Nicola Lemken and Julien Burel, have announced a commercial partnership between their companies just ahead of Agritechnica 2019 and so from this November Lemken colours will be available on spreaders across Europe, including the UK.

The product range comprises three series with a total of five models. The three series – Spica, Tauri and Polaris – come with tank volumes from 900-4000 litres and a broad range of options, from basic operation through to 100% ISOBUS.

And, there's a hint of further co-operation from the company: "Lemken and Sulky both aim for a strong partnership with numerous benefits. While Lemken is able to increase its market relevance significantly with this new product segment, Sulky achieves reliable utilisation of its production facilities. These are important factors for both companies, if they are to remain strong and independent, while also delivering added value to specialist dealers and farmers, said a statement from both companies.

Both are family-owned businesses.
