THERE'S new distributor for Belair's bedding machines, mixer wagons, and self-loading wagons in the UK.

JVS Machinery, from near Market Drayton, in Shropshire, has been appointed the the sole distributor for the French manufacturer's range of livestock machinery, which includes zero grazing and forage equipment.

The business is owned and run by husband and wife, James and Victoria Seaton, with Mr Seaton’s experience of contracting and his background in dairy farming making him the perfect choice for Belair. “We are based in Shropshire, but we serve the whole of the UK. We know Belair equipment has been popular in Scotland and we want Scottish customers to know that we are here to help with parts and new machines,” said Mr Seaton.

JVS Machinery will offer the full range of Belair products and also refurbishes used units. “Some existing customers have upgraded to newer models and this is creating a market for used machines,” said Mr Seaton. The business is also offering parts, servicing and repairs throughout the UK.

Belair products include the Brick, a straw bedder, and the Gabare, a range of self-loading wagons. “The Brick sold well in Scotland and we are helping existing customers to maintain their machines whilst offering the full range of new machines,” said Mr Seaton.

The largest of the self-loading wagons is the Gabare Premium XL, which has a 2.25m wide twin drum front mower and can carry more than 10 tonnes of fresh grass and are aimeds at the zero grazing market.
