The first UTV fully designed and manufactured in Europe, the Corvus Terrain DX4 Diesel UTV, will be displayed on the Boss ORV stand at LAMMA.

The latest Terrain DX4 has had many improvements added over the previous version. Powered by a robust three-cylinder 24hp Yanmar diesel engine, the vehicle is now Stage V emission compliant.

This leads the Corvus programme of designing systems for reducing emission levels, coupled with designing and manufacturing its own parts and components, including the transmission, chassis and technology systems.

The Terrain version has plenty of onboard storage and load capacity, with a spacious and comfortable cabin for easy entry and exit. The cargo box capacity is 450kg and there is a towing capacity of 907kg. Obstacles are overcome with its 309mm ground clearance and adjustable shock absorber settings.

The four-wheel-drive system is activated at the touch of a button on the dash and it has an improved turning radius. A raised snorkel doesn’t just prevent overheating, it also makes it harder for dust, water and impurities to get into the engine and to the continuously variable transmission (CVT).

Suspension is independent and there’s an anti-dive system that corrects front suspension sag on sudden braking – a good feature to have for safety in both off-road and road-going situations. The Terrain is homologated to T1b regulation with a top speed of 40mph/65kph and is available in 4x4 and two-wheel-drive versions.
