ARLA is holding its conventional milk price for May at 27.43 pence per litre.
Commenting on the decision, Arla Foods amba board director, Johnnie Russell, said: “Commodity markets and prices remain stable and we have seen some strengthening in recent days as milk production volumes remain low, due to the recent adverse weather conditions."
A spokesman from milk processing giant Muller said there would be no price announcement this week.
