A CHARITY auction has raised £44,000 for RSABI and My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, at a gala dinner hosted by Royal Bank of Scotland.
Held at Gogarburn recently, the nights' main auction raised £16,950, with Ross Fotheringham of United Auctions with the hammer. Top item was The Macnab challenge, going for £3200, to John Scott for shooting and fishing on the Welbeck Estate, Caithness. The silent auction raised a further £6k.
The occasion was attended by 160 members of the wider agricultural business community, and international sporting figures from Scottish rugby.
