ABERDEENSHIRE farmer Charlie Adam has confirmed that he will be standing for election as vice-president of the National Farmers Union Scotland at its annual council meeting on February 8 next year. Mr Adam, of Braeside farm, Leochel-Cushnie, Alford, is currently chair of the union's Livestock Committee.
